Anonymetrics is designed to measure without cookies. Here we explain the few technical cookies we do use so the site and app work.

1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. We treat similar technologies (local or session storage) equivalently.
2. Cookieless by default
The analytics pixel does not use cookies by default. Measurement is anonymous via a daily identifier that is not linkable across days — no profiles, no cross-site tracking.
3. Cookies on our site and app
On anonymetrics.io and app.anonymetrics.io we use only necessary technical cookies:

4. Product cookie in consent mode
When a customer enables consent mode and the visitor accepts, the pixel may use a first-party cookie (anx_vid, max 1 year). It only activates with the visitor's consent.
5. Third-party cookies
Some features (e.g. payment via Stripe) may set those providers' cookies for security and fraud prevention.
6. How to manage them
You can configure or delete cookies in your browser. Disabling necessary technical cookies may prevent the app from working.
